I’ve been getting some questions around the 2 day format for this year’s tournament so I figured I’d make a post about it to help clarify things.

You are able to fish one or both days of the tournament, it’s entirely up to you. We are not requiring crews to declare their fishing days, so if you go out on Saturday and catch 2 60 pounders, you can weigh both fish that day and just not fish Sunday. Conversely, if you fish on Saturday and catch a skunk (let’s hope not) then you can fish on Sunday and weigh 2 fish.

The only thing that will tie you to a specific day, is if you are entered in one of the daily TWT’s. For example, if you enter all 3 small boat TWT’s (2 dailies and the overall) and you elect not to fish on Sunday. You are still eligible to win the Saturday and the Overall TWT, but you will not be able to win Sunday’s TWT. We aren’t doing refunds on TWT’s so if you elect to not fish that day, you re forfeiting your TWT entry for that day.

I’ll go over all of this at the captains meeting as well, but just want to make sure y’all take that into account when electing to to weigh 2 fish on Saturday and not fish on Sunday.If you know ahead of time that you are only going to fish one day, just make sure to choose the TWT’s you enter accordingly.
