We’ve just published the official rules for this year’s KMT. You can find them over on the Rules section of the website or you can download a pdf version by clicking the button below.

We’ll go over the new format in detail at the captains meeting on Friday and each boat will be provided a copy of the rules at registration.

Pay close attention to the sections on TWT’s and Junior Anglers. Basically “Overall” TWT’s will be based on the 2 fish aggregate over the course of the tournament and daily TWT’s will be based on a single “big fish”. Junior Anglers awards will be based on a single “big fish” over the course of the tournament and if they weigh more than one fish during the tournament, their heaviest fish will be the one counted to determine the rankings.
